MIDPOINT project selected for EAVE
Bloody Easter by Magda Bittnerová (writer) and Lubomír Konečný (producer) has been selected to participate at the EAVE European Producers Workshop 2012. Bloody Easter participated at MIDPOINT Workshops 2011 and won its Prize for the Best Feature Film Project 2011.

MIDPOINT and the Czech Queer Film Festival Mezipatra presented master class with Todd Haynes at FAMU on November 12. The maverick American independent screenwriter/director discussed his work with the Variety’s film critic Boyd Van Hoeij. You can download it for your MP3 or smart phone here.
MIDPOINT Awards 2011
On September 2, 2011 the final pitching forum of all selected projects was held at FAMU and the prizes were awarded. The Prize for the Best Short Film Project 2011 (1,000 EUR) went to Teodor Kuhn and Jakub Viktorín from VŠMU Bratislava (SK) for the project Momo. The Prize for the Best Feature Film Project 2011 (1,500 EUR) went to Magda Bittnerová and Lubomír Konečný from FAMU Prague (CZ) for the project Bloody Easter.
Jean-Claude Carrière
MIDPOINT’s distinguished guest tutor at Workshop 1 was Jean-Claude Carrière who held a master class and introduced and discussed several of his films presented within the framework of the Art Film Fest IFF.
