In the coming weeks, MIDPOINT will be in Macedonia to host both the first workshop of Feature Launch 2017, MIDPOINT Intensive Macedonia and open lectures and masterclasses.
On Sunday June 11th, the participants of Feature Launch 2017 will embark on a creative journey to take their feature film scripts to a new level. 9 projects have been selected for this year's program, and each team will experience an intensive process of both group feedback and one-on-one tutoring.
Head of Studies of Feature Launch Danijel Hocevar will lead the project development together with core tutors Anne Gensior, Pavel Jech and Ivo Trajkov, and they are joined by this year's guest tutors Gabriele Brunnenmeyer, Ognjen Svilicic and Elma Tataragic.
The first workshop of Feature Launch 2017 takes place from June 11-16th by the lake of Ohrid in Macedonia. Read more about all projects here.
Open lectures and masterclasses
During Feature Launch in Macedonia we also present a whole selection of lectures which are open for everyone to attend. They center around the various aspects of film development and production, from "Screenplay, the Origin of the Film", and "Project Development - A view of the Producer", to "How to Direct You Script". MIDPOINT Intensive Macedonia
This three day professional training program is for Macedonian creative teams of filmmakers (scriptwriter, director and producer) who are developing their feature film projects.
Three projects have been selected to participate – they are 'Snow White Dies at the End', 'Summer of Sylvia' and 'The Lost Son of Pasha'.
The course runs from June 12-16, 2017 and is lead by core tutor and Professor in the Department of Directing at FAMU, Pavel Marek, who will be accompanied by the international team of guest tutors, Danijel Hocevar, Elma Tataragic, Gabriele Brunnenmeyer and Ognjen Svilicic .
