MIDPOINT Central European Script Center is a joint initiative of film schools in Prague, Bratislava, Lodz, Bucharest and Budapest for the development and dramaturgy of European film projects by graduating students and recent graduates.

MIDPOINT was created with the belief that European scripts can compete in the international market through greater support of dramaturgy and script development, conceived as a collaborative process in which writer, director and producer act as creative partners.

MIDPOINT’s primary focus is professional training in the area of film dramaturgy. Our long-term goal is to serve as a laboratory to foster innovations in the field of script development.

MIDPOINT’s core tutors are Martin Daniel (Head of Studies), Milena Jelinek, Pavel Jech, Csaba Bollók and Pavel Marek.
