Marija Razgute – Lithuanian film producer who established a film production company M-Films (Ciobreliai) in 2008. Meanwhile she has produced 9 short films – fiction, documentary and animation. Marija has joined Vilnius ISFF as a producer and part of the programming team in 2010, a year later she became one of the co-founders of Lithuanian short film agency promoting short films internationally. Since 2013 Marija started producing feature films, too. Her latest feature Summer Survivors by Marija Kavtaradze premiered at Toronto IFF 2018, Discovery program. The previous feature film The Saint by Andrius Blazevicius premiered at Busan IFF 2016 and Warsaw IFF competition programs, was selected to more than 20 festivals, awarded by Lithuanian Film Academy in 6 categories, including Best Film, Best Script, Best Director, and etc. Now Marija is working on third and fourth feature films – Nova Lituania by Karolis Kaupinis being at the postproduction stage and Paralysis by Andrius Blazevicius to be shot in July-August, 2019.
Also she’s been co-producing as a minority co-producer since 2016, now having coproduction films with Spain, Germany & Georgia. Since 2011 Marija Razgute is an active member of Independent Producers Association of Lithuania, and a Board member since 2016. For the last 12 months she also serves as and expert for reading animation film projects at Lithuanian Film Centre. Marija is also a graduate of MAIA Workshops 2013-2014, EAVE Producers Workshop 2016. A member of Lithuanian Film Academy since 2013, European Film Academy since 2015, EWA Network since 2018.
